It’s exciting times here in our senior infants and 1st class classroom.
All of us are working really hard and learning lots of new things. Just before St. Patrick’s Day we found out a whole lot about Larry Leprechaun, the Irish flag and the National Anthem.
Larry Leprechaun was doing very strange things indeed, and we nearly caught him when we went on the Leprechaun search. He left a treat for us when we were outside – he tricked us!
During Lent we are trying to do extra special things each day, and we call this Stepping Stones to Lent.
We are so luckyyyyyyyyyy to be in one of the new classrooms. We have a lovely paint area, lots of space for our books, bags and lunch boxes. We can dance and jump and hop around the room and we even play musical chairs. We have lovely big windows that let in lots of light, and from inside the classroom we can keep an eye on the aimsir.
We had a lovely walk on one of the fine sunny days when we went searching for signs of Spring. We found lots of signs and saw lovely buds on the trees. Some of the flowers are ready to burst open. If you see any Spring signs be sure and let us know.
